Terms & Conditions - Updated April 2010

Prices: Wines are sold by the bottle or case. Where indicated Duty is charged at £20.76 (Champagnes £26.40) per 12 bottles (or pro-rata) and VAT (currently 17.5%) Duty will be charged for all UK deliveries (excluding wines sold/delivered in Bond).

Customers exporting wines are exempt from VAT, but if the wines are already Duty Paid, the Duty is not refundable.
Availability: All wines listed are offered subject to remaining unsold (errors and omissions excepted). This list supersedes all previous lists, excepting any individual offers.
Payment: All payment for invoices are due on receipt and may be made by either bank transfer, UK Cheque (allow 10 working days for cheques to clear) or certain debit and credit cards (there is a 2% surcharge on credit cards payments.) Credit cards will not be accepted for any En Primeur purchases.
Title: The title of goods supplied by Magnum Fine Wines shall remain the property of Magnum Fine Wines until all sums due are paid in full. Risk in the property shall pass to the purchaser upon delivery of the goods.
Delivery: Delivery for all duty paid orders of 2 cases (24 bottles) or more will be free to mainland UK.
All in bond deliveries will be charged at cost.
All deliveries outside mainland UK will be quoted separately, and will be charged at cost.
Delivery to London can usually be completed within 2-3 days, outside London, up to 4-5 days.
Trade orders - All wines are sold lying at Octavian Corsham.
Export Customers can be put in contact with a suitable freight forwarder.
The price of En Primeur wines is in bond UK. Delivery or storage will be charged when wines become available.
Breakages and Short Delivery: Any breakages, shortages, or errors, MUST be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Please do not sign for any goods unless examined, otherwise Magnum or its carriers cannot be held responsible.
Storage: All our wines are stored in an independent bonded warehouse that provides ideal cellar conditions, and specialises in the long-term storage of fine wines.

Storage can be arranged for wines both In Bond and Duty Paid. Charges for these wines which are stored in the customer's name are as follows (all prices below exclude VAT) An initial documentation charge of £6 per case.
A non-refundable Storage fee of £35.00 per case for 5 years, including insurance at replacement value.

Wines stored, but not bought at Magnum are subject to the same costs plus an admin fee of £15.00 per consignment received at the warehouse.

All storage unpaid after nine months from date of invoice, Magnum's reserve the right to sell case(s) of wine to pay for the outstanding storage and remit any balance in full to our client.
