En Primeur : When a wine is purchased 'En Primeur' the purchaser buys the right to receive the specific number of cases when the wine is released by the Chateau. Release and shipment of the wines normally takes place two and a half years after the vintage and at that stage purchasers will be contacted for their instructions as to delivery or storage of the wines they have purchased.

Owned and run very successfully by the Barton family, the quality of this wine improves each year. Deep dark ruby colour, with medium bodied quite gentle tannins. Rounded and well balanced. A really good wine this year and a definite "BUY". (MFW 91-93)(RP90-92) |
