This is a lovely wine. Not the typical "blockbuster" of previous vintages. Ripe fruits medium tannins and a lovely delicate finish. This will need some time to reach full maturity, but it will certainly be worth the wait. (MFW 96) |

Francois Xavier Borie has really pulled one "out of the bag". This is his finest GPL he has produced since he took over sole ownership, and will rate as one of their finest. Filled with fruits and medium tannins. Very fine length and freshness (MFW 94) |

Tasted at 9.00am in the morning, gave us all a beautiful fillip to the days tasting. Medium bodied but with firm tannins. It did have a slightly woody flavour on the after-taste but this should dissapear over time, and the quality of this wine should certainly improve over the next decade or so. (MFW 91-93)(RP 92-94) |
