Tasted at Ch. Lafite Rothschild on a bright sunny day on 12th April surrounded by beautiful vines (and the occassional crane!). This is a very serious wine. Fine tannins, with layers of rich ripe fruits that lingers in the mouth. (MFW 93 -95)(RP94-96) |

This is an awesome wine, very complex and dense. Layers and layers of velvety fruit combined with soft tannins, and a very long finish. Certainly one of the "wines of the vintage" (MFW 96) |
