BURGUNDY 2010 – A YEAR OF ELEGANCE AND PERSONALITY
A difficult growing season has resulted in a small crop combining ripeness with good acidity.

The whites have great purity and freshness and are stunningly perfumed, long in flavour, with marked character and finesse. They highlight the advantages of a year of moderate conditions, devoid of any real heat. The result is a style of wine to be found nowhere else.
The reds may be a shade less consistent but the best show all the personality of their origins. There are fruity and elegant Village wines, Premier Crus which are long flavoured, fresh and succulent, and Grand Crus with surprising concentration, breed and personality.
